Grupo Salta, the largest basic education group in Brazil, advanced in school payment digitalization in partnership with Bemobi, a payments technology company specialized in recurring services with strong presence in the education sector. Between May 2025 and April 2026, the transaction volume (TPV) through digital channels grew 293% compared to the annual cycle prior to the beginning of the partnership. In the first year of implementation, between May 2024 and April 2025, the increase had already been 126.5%.

The migration from the traditional boleto to digital modalities aims to reduce operational and financial friction in the relationship between schools and student guardians. With the new flow, credit card participation jumped from 10% to 29% of the group's total revenue — a movement that reduces demands on service channels such as the call center and contributes to the improvement in retention and satisfaction rates (NPS).

Through integration with the SuperApp Agenda Edu, financial guardians can now access, within the same environment used to follow the school routine, multiple payment alternatives:

  • Credit card (one-time or recurring transactions)

  • Debit card

  • Pix

  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay and Click to Pay

  • Installment payments

Operational efficiency and retention

The infrastructure is also ready to incorporate new modalities, such as Pix Automático, expanding the recurrence alternatives for families.

Integrating the solutions allows us to elevate the experience of our clients, offering multiple journeys and payment methods in an agile, practical and secure way. This progress also contributes to the evolution of payment compliance rates and strengthens the relationship of trust with our users.

For Anderson Morais, VP of Education at Bemobi, the partnership demonstrates how a specialized payments strategy can generate value for high-recurrence sectors.

Each sector has its own way of billing, serving clients and measuring results. By combining this knowledge with an end-to-end payments journey, we help educational institutions offer more convenience and security to families, while at the same time expanding conversion, revenue predictability and encouraging adoption of automatic payments.

— Anderson Morais, VP of Education at Bemobi

Frequently asked questions about digital school tuition payment

How does school payment digitalization work?

Digitalization expands payment options beyond boleto, offering families multiple payment methods (Pix, credit and debit card, digital wallets and installments) in a single journey, integrated with the app in which families already follow their school routine. This reduces payment friction and increases revenue predictability for the school.

What is the best way to pay school tuition today?

The most used methods in 2026 are Pix, credit card with automatic recurrence and digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Click to Pay). Automatic recurrence on credit card is the fastest-growing modality because it eliminates forgetfulness and involuntary delinquency.

How to reduce school delinquency with digital payments?

By offering multiple payment methods and automatic recurrence, the school reduces billing friction and cuts forgetfulness. In the Grupo Salta case, expanding payment options strengthened revenue predictability and raised credit card share from 10% to 29% of the group's revenue. Adhesion to automatic credit card recurrence went from less than 60% to 99% after the partnership with Bemobi.

What is the SuperApp Agenda Edu?

The SuperApp Agenda Edu is Bemobi's app in which financial guardians follow their children's school routine — announcements, agenda, homework — and also pay tuition. An end-to-end communication and payment journey in the same environment the family already uses.

Does Bemobi serve only schools?

No. Bemobi manages payments for companies in utilities (Sabesp, Copel, Neoenergia, Energisa, Equatorial, Enel, Light), telecom (Vivo, TIM, Claro), healthcare and education — 16 of the 20 largest private recurring services companies in Brazil are clients.
